Flyers pregame notes: Raffl, Manning back in the lineup

Michael Raffl and Brandon Manning will return to the Flyers lineup in tonight's game at the Wells Fargo Center against the Minnesota Wild after both were healthy scratches during last night's 6-3 loss at Toronto.

Coach Dave Hakstol said that forward Roman Lyubimov and defenseman Nick Schultz will not play tonight.

Raffl will move to a line centered by Pierre-Edouard Bellemare with Matt Read going to the right wing.

While the substandard goaltending continues to be a main topic of conversation, Hakstol's immediate concern is wiping away the bad aftertaste of Friday's third period against the Maple Leafs.

The Flyers led 3-2 after 40 minutes and were outscored 4-0 in the third period.

"We were on the road last night and we played a pretty darn good second (period)," Hakstol said. "We had a lead going in and we didn't play a very good third period. That is where the focus for me is at today and how we alter that."

The Flyers have been outscored 20-18 in the third period, but the real concern is the opening stanza. The Flyers have been outscored 18-9 in the first period.

Another ragged start against a Minnesota team that is coming off Thursday's 4-2 win at Pittsburgh, could be disastrous.
