Rangers survive Game 7

The New York Rangers are moving on to the second round.

New York eliminated Ottawa with a 2-1 win in Game 7 on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.

That means the Flyers' opponent is limited now to either Florida or New Jersey, the winner of the Game 7 that started at 8:30 p.m. That game is televised on NBC Sports Network.

The Rangers, the No. 1 seed in the East, will face No. 7 seed Washington, who won in their own Game 7 on Wednesday in Boston.

The Flyers were 3-1-0 against Florida and 3-2-1 against New Jersey during the regular season.
