Flyers left winger Claude Giroux scored on a breakaway Sunday, but his Metropolitan Division team dropped a 7-4 decision to the Atlantic Division in the NHL's three-on-three all-star tournament in Tampa, Fla.
The Pacific, which got a goal and an assist from South Jersey's Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary) in the final, won the tourney with a 5-2 victory over the Atlantic.
The winners got to divide $1 million, or about $91,000 for each of the 11 players.
Giroux, a five-time all-star, gave the Metro a brief 2-1 lead in the semifinals before the Atlantic rallied behind three goals from Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov.
Giroux is second in the NHL in assists (43), tied for fifth in points (57), and third in faceoffs (58 percent).
Former Flyer Jaromir Jagr, 45, has been placed on waivers by the Calgary Flames.
