Flyers activate Neuvirth from injured list

Goalie will be with the team when it resumes play on Thursday in Florida.

Goalie Michal Neuvirth, sidelined since Nov. 27 with a lower-body injury, was activated Tuesday and will be on the roster when the Flyers resume their schedule Thursday in Florida.

The Flyers also sent Alex Lyon back to the AHL's Phantoms. Though he was on the roster, he did not make his NHL debut, as Brian Elliott started 11 straight games.

Neuvirth has a 2-5-1 record, a 2.65 goals-against average, and a .915 save percentage.
