Hartefeld's Kan earns a No. 2 seed

Hartefeld National's Aurora Kan carded a 73 Monday at Whitemarsh Valley and claimed the second seed for Tuesday's first round of match play at the Pennsylvania State Women's Golf Association's 74th annual state amateur championship.

Margaret Pentrack of the Pittsburgh Field Club is the top seed as the defending champion.

Alexandra Frazier of Gulph Mills is the defending champion in the Senior Division, and Philmont's Bonnie George will be looking to repeat as the Super-Senior Division winner.
