Woods said on his Twitter account that he's "feeling fit and ready to tee it up at Firestone next week. Excited to get back out there!"
Woods has plunged to No. 21 in the world - his lowest ranking since Jan. 26, 1997.
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. - Trevor Immelman shot a 6-under-par 64 for a 1-stroke lead after the first round of the Greenbrier Classic.
The former Masters champion carded seven birdies and a bogey on the redesigned Old White TPC course.
