W.C.'s Osberg headed to national

West Chester's Jeff Osberg finished the last five holes of the rain-delayed 36-hole qualifier for the USGA's Amateur Championship on Tuesday and earned his second trip in three years to the national championship.

Osberg easily won the medalist honors by posting a 67 at Rolling Green Country Club on Monday and adding a 69 on his home course at Llanerch for a 5-under par score of 136.

Osberg will be joined in the USGA Amateur at Erin Hills, Wis., Aug. 22-28 by Holy Ghost Prep senior Chris Crawford; Huntingdon Valley's Andrew Mason, who won the Philadelphia Open last month; and Florida State University's Kyle Cobb, who each shot 143.
