Cimorelli turned in a solid performance, allowing four hits and fanning a dozen batters.
In other quarterfinal action, Central's Sarah Greenberg paved the way for a 15-1 win over visiting Kensington. Greenberg notched the win, tossing a three-hitter and registering nine strikeouts, and also added a pair of home runs for four RBIs.
Public. Philadelphia Academy Charter earned a berth in the league semifinals, stealing an 11-10 win at CAPA.
Dee Brown opened the eighth inning with a single, and moved to third base via a single and passed ball. Brown raced home with the winning run on a pick-off attempt at second base.
Ali Shepherd hit for the cycle and drove in four runs for CAPA.
