That's because Jamie Minix twirled a three-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts as the Dragons silenced visiting Cumberland, 4-0, yesterday.

Kingsway and Williamstown each finished with 11-1 marks in the Royal. The Braves clinched their half of the title on Monday.

Kingsway posted a picket fence in innings two through five for its four runs. The Dragons had seven hits, including a double by Danielle Rice.

In other Tri-Co action:

Kelsey Cutler delivered a RBI single to spark a three-run, third-inning that catapulted Gloucester to a 3-1 win at Clearview. Three runs were plenty for Sam Dobleman, who fired a three-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk en route to the victory.

Megan Merritt knocked in three runs and Brittany Smith scored three times as visiting Salem outslugged Pitman, 10-9.

Burlington County. Dana Bieniek collected three hits with three RBIs and two runs scored as Rancocas Valley captured the Liberty Division banner with a 15-1 win at Pemberton. Amy Gentile, Katie Schuh and Amy Johnson each had two RBIs for the Red Devils.

Molly Dixon launched a three-run homer as New Egypt pushed across six runs in the ninth inning and earned a 9-4 victory at Maple Shade. Lindsay Rajeski tripled and homered for the Warriors.

Valerie Miller had three hits, four runs scored and two RBIs to highlight Cinnaminson's 14-0 win at Medford Tech. Jamie Gasko rang up 11 strikeouts en route to a two-hit shutout. Tina McGuigan chipped in two runs scored and two RBIs for the Pirates.

Olympic. Kathy Sikora crossed home plate twice and Sam Rossi scored once as host Cherokee pulled off a 3-0 upset win over No. 2 Lenape. Christine Watson handcuffed the Indians on two singles and fanned five. Nicole Muraglia had the game's lone RBI while the Chiefs also scored twice on passed balls.

Winning pitcher Brittany Hicks, Rachel Campbell and Danielle Lemm knocked in runs as Eastern chalked up a 3-0 victory over visiting Camden Catholic. Laura Stagliano went 2 for 2 with three runs scored and three stolen bases for the Vikings. Hicks handcuffed the Irish on four singles, fanned nine and walked none.

Maureen Hepner and Allison Vaughan each stroked two-run doubles to spark Shawnee's 5-2 win at Cherry Hill East. Hepner's two-bagger gave the Renegades a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning, while Vaughan's double padded the lead to 5-2 in the seventh.

Colonial. Meghan Liquori collected two hits and three RBIs and Bobbie Padgett tossed a six-hit shutout as Haddon Heights pinned an 11-0 loss on Woodbury.

Cape-Atlantic. Ashley Landi tripled twice, driving in two runs, as Vineland wrapped up the American Conference overall title with a 5-2 win at Absegami. The Fighting Clan will play National Conference overall champion St. Joseph at a date to be determined. Both Vineland and Absegami finished with 6-2 records in the American I Division for a co-championship, but Vineland was awarded the overall title.

Coach Pam Pickett recorded her 400th career win as visiting Buena defeated Middle Township, 5-2.

Erin McGloin roped a two-run home run, but it wasn't enough as Lower Cape May dropped a 6-4 decision to visiting Mainland.
