Trent Waddle plunged into the end zone from two yards out with two minutes remaining in regulation, as ninth-ranked Seneca rallied past visiting Lenape, 28-21, last night in a Burlco/Olympic Conference interdivision football opener.

A 35-yard TD run by Tim Meise earlier in the fourth quarter put the Golden Eagles on the comeback trail, and Vince Henry's interception at the Seneca 30-yard line with 48 seconds to go sealed the win. Junior Sean Carroll scored two touchdowns in the first half and added a pair of two-point conversion runs for the hosts.

Lenape jumped on top on Tom Dulong's 3-yard run, and took its last lead in the third quarter via Ryan Clancey's 69-yard scoring strike to Kyle Gardner.

Cinnaminson 22, Northern Burlington 18 - Kyle Hess had a pair of 1-yard touchdown runs in the third quarter, and he picked up three key first downs in the final period to enable the Pirates to hold on for the interdivision win. Jarrett East-Brown provided highlight-reel plays for the Greyhounds, scoring on a 65-yard punt return and taking a kickoff back 90 yards for another score, but Northern Burlington saw a 17-play drive in the waning minutes die at the Cinnaminson 30-yard line.

Moorestown 41, Rancocas Valley 7 - Bryan Burnham scored on a 45-yard interception return and a 21-yard pass from John Eller (9 of 12 passing, 156 yards and two TDs), keying the host Quakers' interdivision rout. Jon Lefferts, who converted two field goals and all five of his extra-point kicks, also had a touchdown catch.

Delran 34, Riverside 20 - Robert Bruce gained 256 yards on 22 carries, including three touchdowns, as the Bears wiped out an early deficit in cruising to the interdivision victory.

Eastern 33, Camden 8 - Logan Ryan ran for two touchdowns and threw for one, as the host Vikings put the interdivision game out of reach early.

Timber Creek 14, Cherry Hill West 7 - Julian Lang's 49-yard scoring burst in the fourth quarter clinched the Liberty Division win for the visiting Chargers. Timber Creek took the lead for good on a third-quarter safety.

Colonial

Paul Blocker threw for a pair of scores, and Josh Johnson's 8-yard touchdown run with three seconds left in the first half provided the difference as Haddon Heights held on to nip host Lindenwold, 24-20.

Johnson, a sophomore, piled up 172 yards on 20 carries. The Lions fell despite Taylor Budd's TD passes of 22 and 6 yards to Tyron Harris.

Paulsboro 27, Sterling 14 - Stephon Archie capped his three-touchdown performance by returning a kickoff 70 yards, as the visiting Red Raiders prevailed despite a wild fourth quarter. The Silver Knights made it interesting with a pair of late TD passes by Cory Almassey, including an 80-yard bomb to Jermaine Stewart.

Haddon Township 18, Haddonfield 16 - Tyler Ranshaw scored the deciding touchdown on a 35-yard run in the fourth quarter, allowing the host Hawks to emerge with the upset in the see-saw battle. Haddonfield had forged ahead on second-half TDs by Max Farnath and Alex Watson.

The Thunderbolts got on the scoreboard in the second quarter on a 68-yard interception return by Khalid Cherry.

Nonleague

Sophomore Mike Cisrow churned out 114 yards on four carries, with the bulk coming on an 86-yard touchdown run in Bridgeton's 43-0 romp at Jackson Liberty. Senior Kentrai Molock also saw limited duty, rushing for 93 yards and three scores on five carries.
