Morris brothers to attend Faith Christian

Markieff and Marcus Morris, who starred for the Prep Charter boys' basketball team, will attend Living Faith Christian Academy, a prep school in Cherry Hill.

"It should help us a lot, especially academically," Markieff Morris said.

Markieff Morris said he and his twin brother had considered spending a year at prep school, either Maine Central Institute or Brewster Academy, both in Maine, or IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Fla.

Markieff Morris, a 6-foot-10 center, and 6-9 Marcus led Prep Charter to back-to-back PIAA Class AA state championships. Last season, the Huskies rallied for a thrilling 68-66 win over Aliquippa in the state final. They finished with a 27-4 record.
