One day after opening the season with a 52-27 home loss to Lower Cape May, the Vikings (1-1) found the formula to knock off Holy Spirit - ranked seventh in South Jersey by The Inquirer.

Cannon crafted a 16-point, 13-rebound performance while Persiano buried three of four from beyond the arc in scoring 13 points. Monique Garcia added 12 points and six rebounds for Atlantic City, which outrebounded the Spartans, 48-22. Danielle Wessler's 16 points paced Holy Spirit (1-1).
