Trailing by 2-0 with two outs in the sixth inning, the Spartans (5-3 overall, 3-1 division) poked four straight singles, including Sean Peterson's two-run game-tying single with the bases loaded.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Spartans loaded the bases again, and Andrew McElroy drew a game-ending RBI walk to make a winner of pitcher A. J. Holland.
