All three of the Patriots' seniors, Molly Radford, Ryanne Baker and Amanda Salata, won their singles matches in straight sets.
The most competitive match of the day came at second doubles when the Carroll team of Margo Lesher and Alex Lawlor needed three sets to subdue Masterman's Theresa Breiner and Kaitlin McLaughlin, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
District 12 Class AAA.
Also at Arthur Ashe, Nicole D'Ascenzo and Lara Massuto came up with a clutch three-set win at first doubles to give Catholic League champion Cardinal O'Hara a 3-2 win over Public League standard-bearer Northeast for the overall district title.
D'Ascenzo and Massuto outlasted the Northeast team of Bethanie Radcliffe and Keisha Spain, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
Cross-Country
At Tyler State Park, Christopher Dock edged Phil-Mont Christian for the Bicentennial Athletic League team title but Phil-Mont's Cecelia Forshee had the best time of the day by far to defend her title.
Forshee's time of 18 minutes, 36 seconds was almost a full minute ahead of second-place finisher Beth Coradino of Delco Christian (19:33).
Christopher Dock had 62 team points, nine ahead of Phil-Mont Christian.

At the Daniel Boone Homestead, the Perkiomen Valley girls took the league team title and the top individual was Elizabeth Simpson of Boyertown (18:49).

At Belmont Plateau, Cardinal O'Hara successfully defended its league title and Archbishop Carroll's Katie Rodden took the individual title.
Golf
Kennett's Christine Shimel and Chichester's Aurora Kan both shot an even-par 72 to share the individual title at the PIAA Eastern Regional Championships at Golden Oaks Golf Club. Teams from both Little Flower and Mount St. Joseph qualified for the state tournament.

Cailyn Alfieri scored three goals to power Germantown Academy to a 7-1 win at Notre Dame, the first league loss for the Irish.
Jennifer Hoy and Kacie Kergides each scored a pair of goals for the Patriots. Karen Guarino scored for the Irish (10-2-1, 4-1-1).
Claire MacManus scored to give host Episcopal Academy a two-goal lead in a 2-1 win over Springside.
Kate Higgins scored twice for Penn Charter in a 3-1 win at Baldwin.
