Quakertown senior Brett Roseboro made an oral commitment Saturday to play men's basketball at Marquette.
The 6-foot-10 forward chose the Golden Eagles over Maryland, St. John's, Temple, Providence and Rutgers.
Roseboro made his decision while he visited Marquette's campus in Milwaukee.
"It's been an unbelievable process," Quakertown coach Kevin Keeler said. "I've been the head coach at Quakertown for 26 years, and this is our first Division I recruit. "He's blown up, so to speak, from last year at this time."
The 17-year-old saw his stock rise earlier this month in the iS8/Nike Tip-Off Classic in South Jamaica, N.Y.
Roseboro scored 27 points against Maryland recruit James Padgett in the AAU event while shooting from the perimeter and scoring on post-up moves.
"He just worked on [his game] everyday," Keeler said. "He steps out. He has a soft touch."
Roseboro averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds last season at Quakertown.
