South Jersey wrestlers to watch

With wrestling season under way, here are some wrestlers to watch this season, in alphabetical order: Anthony Baldosaro, Eastern, junior. This 2007-08 state champion at 140 pounds transferred from Delsea. He won a Region 8 title as a freshman, when he posted a 39-5 record.

With wrestling season under way, here are some wrestlers to watch this season, in alphabetical order:

Anthony Baldosaro, Eastern, junior.

This 2007-08 state champion at 140 pounds transferred from Delsea. He won a Region 8 title as a freshman, when he posted a 39-5 record.

Matt Catalano, Highland, senior.

The state tournament participant stays at 135 this year after winning two District 30 crowns at that weight and placing second in Region 8 last year.

Anthony Curcio, Washington Township, senior.

A state runner-up at 125 last season, he is a three-time state qualifier, three-time District 30 champ and a Region 8 winner.

Joe Duca, Paulsboro, junior.

He will remain at 119 after winning District 29 and Region 8 titles last year and placing fourth in the state.

Justin Pencook, Cinnaminson, senior.

He will wrestle at 152 after winning the District 26 crown and placing second in Region 7 last year at 145.

Brad Sanders, Lenape, senior.

He won the District 27 title and placed third in Region 7 at 135. He also led the team with 22 pins.

Anthony Saulle, Delran, senior.

Last season, he won the District 26 title and placed second in Region 7 at 160. This season, he will wrestle at 171.

Hank Stinson, Eastern, junior.

He is a state champion at 125 and a two-time District 26 and Region 7 title winner.

Taylor Walsh, Camden Catholic, junior.

He is a state and Region 8 runner-up at 119 and a two-time District 28 winner. He will wrestle at 130 this season.

Leon White, St. Augustine, senior.

He will remain at 189 after winning the District 32 title and placing second in Region 8 last season.
