The Irish, ranked No. 3 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, got double-figure scoring from four of its five scorers, led by Tim Crawford's 14 points, and Eastern's Bobby Harris netted 18 points.

Colonial.

Haddonfield rallied from a six-point halftime deficit to hand host Collingswood its second loss, 78-71. Wyatt Polk scored 12 of his 29 points in a third-quarter comeback, and Mike Steinberger saved 10 of his 19 for the fourth period.

Mike Williams had a double-double, and Lindenwold (3-2) outscored visiting Audubon by 40-17 over the two middle periods and scored a surprisingly-easy 65-39 win over the Green Wave (5-2). Williams notched 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Cape-Atlantic.

Heberto Guanipa's layup with 1 minute, 30 seconds left gave top-ranked St. Augustine the lead, and the Hermits survived a late scare to edge visiting Absegami, 49-48. Isiah Morton gave the winners 17 points, eight rebounds and five steals.

Tri-County.

Senior Timmy Breaker connected on five three-point baskets in a 19-point effort that enabled him to become the 11th boy at Glassboro to reach 1,000 career points, punctuating an 80-66 win over visiting Pennsville.

Pitman (6-1) took sole possession of first place in the Classic Division by handing host Salem (5-1) its first loss this season, 60-56. The Panthers, aided by 19 points each from Luke Dickson and Dylan Colgate, secured the win with 6-for-6 fourth-quarter foul shooting.

Junior forward Matt Schiff controlled Wildwood's 57-42 success at Schalick by making 17 of 19 foul shots in a 34-point performance that included 13 points in a decisive 16-4 fourth quarter.

Burlington County.

New Egypt's (5-1) Kevin Janowski had 28 points and 14 rebounds, and Desmond Hubert narrowly missed a triple-double with 14 rebounds, 10 blocks and nine points amid a 70-27 win over visiting Palmyra (4-1), which suffered its first loss.

Girls' Basketball

Vanessa Hejnas capped her 18-point, 18-rebound effort by sinking the clinching basket with 18 seconds left in regulation, as host Delran defeated Willingboro, 49-46, in a Burlington County League game.

In other Burlco action:

Kelly Baker (12 points) shot 7 for 10 from the line in the fourth quarter, aiding a 15-5 run that sealed host Cinnaminson's 39-32 win over Moorestown.

Amber Spady knocked down five shots from beyond the arc in scoring 27 points, igniting a long-range assault that propelled Westampton Tech to a 68-52 victory at Northern Burlington.

Sarah Muchowski and Erin Sweeney scored 13 apiece for Florence, which ran out to an 11-1 lead en route to a 46-31 triumph at Burlington City.

Colonial.

Tiaja Harold (23 points) and Lavon Childress (21) lit up the scoreboard for Paulsboro, which turned up the heat late to pull away from host Woodbury, 65-46.

Olympic.

Dana Wert (19 points), Ashley Giedemann (14) and Alyse Maiden (13) supplied enough offense for host Washington Township to bury Bishop Eustace, 61-45.

Tri-County.

Shalisa Hill hit for nine of her game-high 23 points in an 18-4 second-quarter spree, allowing host Penns Grove to run away from Woodstown, 49-27. Hill also collected nine rebounds, seven steals and five assists.

Erin MacAdams (22 points) sank three of her five three-pointers to ignite a 19-3 fourth-quarter surge to complete Gloucester's 57-35 comeback win at Clayton.

Sam Morris tossed in 21 points, Jaleesa Bundy netted 18 and Tina Croxton contributed 10 points and 11 rebounds, highlighting Deptford's 61-40 conquest at Kingsway.

Cape-Atlantic.

Jill Shaner produced 21 points, five rebounds and four steals as host Egg Harbor Township mauled Mainland, 50-33.

Tiana Cannon piled up 20 points, 12 rebounds and three assists as host Atlantic City seized control early and cruised past Hammonton, 52-43.

Nonleague.

Noelle Hogan totaled 18 points, a dozen rebounds and five blocks and Kiley Grabbe posted 14 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks in powering host Clearview over Absegami, 49-30.
