S. Jersey Girls: Clearview rolls past Delsea

Sam Morris torched the Cumberland defense for 29 points and also came up with nine rebounds and seven steals in leading host Deptford to a 47-29 triumph.

Marisa Cooper had a game-high 20 points, Erin MacAdams contributed 15 points and seven assists, and Cori Conner added 10 points and 14 rebounds in host Gloucester's 71-19 rout of Pitman.

Ashlee Willis buried three shots from beyond the arc in scoring 19, Stephanie Gardner netted 18, and Kendra Garrison chipped in a dozen points - including eight in a 21-5 second-quarter spree - to power host Glassboro past Penns Grove, 53-34.

Salem used first-half runs of 21-8 and 20-5 to slam visiting Schalick, 66-32. Che'Na Thompson cleared 11 rebounds to go with 18 points, Shaqui Coppage totaled 16 points, six steals and five assists, and Jordan Cline made four treys in scoring 14 for the Rams. Dalana Warren had a game-high 20 points for Schalick.

Tori Malpezzi drilled the game-winning basket from the corner, capping her 15-point night and lifting host Woodstown over Gloucester Catholic, 38-36. Beth Humenik posted a double-double for the Wolverines, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Lauren Husser grabbed 10 boards and blocked two shots.

Marisa Brannau led the way with 22 points and Loretta Kelly netted 17 for Wildwood, which withstood a 21-point, 14-rebound effort by Clayton's Sharele Anderson to cut down the host Clippers, 48-43.

Colonial.

One night after West Deptford coach Jackie Trakimas celebrated her 300th victory, the Eagles lost in heartbreaking fashion - 68-65 in overtime - to visiting Sterling.

The Silver Knights wiped out a five-point deficit in the final 1 minute, 24 seconds of regulation, and then pulled away to victory when Tanjae Lewis scored five of her game-high 19 points in overtime.

Danielle Trucksess poured in 22 points and Nadira Robinson dropped in 21 as Collingswood crushed host Overbrook, 61-38.

Paulsboro rode the double-figure scoring of Lavon Childress (19 points), Tiaja Harold (17) and Tia Scott (11) to a 58-49 victory at Gateway. Meghan Nowak totaled 24 points and eight rebounds for the Gators.

Olympic.

The Camden Catholic trio of Serifat Junaid (14 points), Addy Crenny (16) and Nicole Angelo (11) teamed up to offset the 30-point, 18-rebound effort by Camden's Annie Payton, allowing the Irish to escape with a 62-54 road win.

Seneca ran its record to 6-0, getting 13 points from Carly Strickland and 11 points and 10 rebounds by Chelsea Grover, to allow the Golden Eagles to topple Timber Creek, 49-20.

Burlington County.

Latese Hickson scored 28 and Brittanie Payne contributed 19 rebounds and 13 points as Westampton Tech knocked off host Willingboro for the first time in program history, 59-50.

Cape-Atlantic.

Megan Russ nailed two free throws with no time remaining, making Middle Township a 32-31 winner at Lower Cape May. The host Tigers had taken the lead with 25 seconds remaining when Elisa Miller scored her only points on a pair of foul shots.

Kyana McCarthy (18 points) stole the ball and laid in the tying bucket late in regulation for host Hammonton, but Molly McLaughlin picked up seven of her nine points in overtime as Mainland pulled away to a 54-42 win.
