Lansdale Catholic's Howell picks Navy

Fresh off a weekend visit with his parents to Annapolis, Md., the Lansdale Catholic star has committed to play for the Midshipmen. With an improved score in the Scholastic Assessment Test, he recently gained direct admission to the school.

"I'm real excited," said Howell, a quick-footed two-way back and kick returner. "Navy is looking at me as either a slotback or defensive back."

The 5-foot-8, 175-pound senior also received interest from Holy Cross, Marshall and Boston College.
