Copper turned in her third double-double of the season and sparked Girard College to a 39-33 win over visiting Phil-Mont Christian in a Bicentennial League basketball game yesterday.
Copper scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while handing out five assists for the Cavaliers.
Girard trailed at halftime, 18-17, but picked up some breathing room with a 14-8 scoring effort in the third quarter.
New Hope-Solebury outscored host Calvary Christian over the middle quarters, 26-10, and went on to beat the Cougars, 57-32.

Ashley Montecchio poured in 19 points and led Sun Valley to a 40-32 win over host West Chester Bayard Rustin.
Asia Graham and Elisa Gaffney each scored 6 points in the fourth quarter and led Coatesville past visiting West Chester East, 43-34.
