Pa. Girls: Medina powers Edison to victory

Onairys Medina has rebounding down to a science this season.

Edison's 6-foot-2 sophomore posted her fourth straight game over 20 rebounds, this time with 25, in leading her team to a 54-37 Public League basketball win over visiting Girls High yesterday. She also scored a career-high 30 points.

Lincoln needed 20 points from Shante Howard and 18 more from Sabrina Boulware in handing host Frankford a 55-54 loss.

Alexis Johnson scored 18 points and Fatima Rone added 16 to lead host Mastbaum past Fels, 47-39.

Helen Levins had 13 points, nine rebounds and seven steals for Masterman in a 50-17 win at Philadelphia Academy Charter.
