Lee Troutman, among the most successful girls' soccer coaches in South Jersey history, resigned yesterday as head coach at Haddon Heights.
A graduate of Haddon Heights, Troutman coached at his alma mater for the last 11 seasons. Before that, he was the head coach at Cherry Hill East.
Haddon Heights athletic director Joe Cramp said Troutman told him he was resigning because he felt it was time to move on.
Troutman finished with a combined record of 314-171-29.
This past season, the Garnets were 13-6-1 and made the South Jersey Group 2 playoffs.
"He did a great job building our program," Cramp said. "We weren't a playoff team when he got here, and he took our program to another level."
The application deadline for the job is Feb. 20, according to Cramp.
