Crowley, a sophomore point guard, finished with a career-high 25 points. She took the scoring load upon herself in the second half - with a pair of teammates saddled with foul trouble - and knocked down 20 of her points over the last two quarters.
Her previous career high had been 14 in a game last season.
Crowley made five of her six free throws over the last two minutes to keep the Clippers, a former rival when both schools were in the Del-Val League, at bay. For the game, Crowley made nine of her 12 free throws.
The Clippers (12-4) got 13 points from Karen Flagg. The Vanguards are 16-4.
In other nonleague games:
Kaitlin Cole tipped in a shot as time expired to give Archbishop Carroll a 51-50 win at Christ the King (N.Y.). Cole, who has committed to Holy Cross University, finished with 12 points and five rebounds. She was in the right place at the right time for the Patriots (17-1) - Kerri Shields took a shot at the top of the key that missed and Cole was right there to finish off the play.
Dior Brown scored 10 of her 16 points in the second half to power host Upper Darby past North Penn, 35-30. Diamon Beckford added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Royals (18-2).
A missed free throw with six seconds left enabled Archbishop Ryan to dribble away the rest of the game and beat visiting Engineering and Science, 42-41. The Engineers made the first free throw to cut it to 42-41, but missed the second. After a scramble for the loose ball, the Ragdolls came away with it and dribbled the remaining time off the clock. Sarah Strybuc led Ryan with 14 points. Brittany Hrynko's 17 paced the Engineers.
Paige Ohrenich had 17 points, three steals and two blocked shots for Penncrest in a 54-44 win at Avon Grove. Charlotte Beebe added 13 points, six assists and five steals for the Lions. Allie Herpen led the Red Devils with 11 points.
Amanda Germer scored 19 points and Colleen O'Malley added 17 to pace Great Valley to a 63-40 win at Strath Haven. O'Malley had nine of her points on three-point shots.
Kelly Keifer made five of her six fourth-quarter free throws to help Haverford High win at Academy Park, 40-38. Her teammates did not fare as well from the line as they made 10 of 21.
Dee Brown's 14 points led host Emmaus past Plymouth Whitemarsh, 37-35. Angie Branigan's 11 points paced the Colonials, who outscored the Green Hornets, 14-8, in the final quarter.
Central Bucks South made 16 of its 20 free throw attempts to beat visiting Upper Dublin, 63-53. Kaycee Schaefer made all six of her fourth-quarter free throws to keep the Cardinals at bay. The Titans had three players reach double figures, led by Schaefer's 16 points. Cayla Miller added 14 and Katielyn Schneider 12 for the Titans (11-9).
Chrissie Gana scored 19 points to lead host St. Hubert to a 51-43 win over Cherry Hill East (N.J.). Gana, a senior, scored six of her points in the fourth quarter, when the Bambies went on a 27-13 run. Freshman guard Eireann Anastasi added 12 points and scored 10 of them in the second half.
Lindsay Alexander's 17 points powered Lower Moreland to a 61-33 win at Harriton. Alexander was one of three double-digit scorers for the Lions, who got 13 from Kelly McGarry and 12 from Nicole Dougherty.
Tina Bechtel had 13 points and eight rebounds for Calvary Baptist in a 48-14 win over visiting Coventry Christian.

Emily Homan's 28 points led Delco Christian to a 59-37 win at Bristol. The Knights (12-5, 9-2) also got 14 points from Whitney McCloud.
Ches-Mont.
Kelly Coker scored 12 points as Downingtown West earned a 51-47 win at West Chester East. The game was tied with a minute left and the final minute saw a parade of Whippets go to the free throw line. Downingtown West made six of eight free throws in the final minute to put the game away. Kelly Rule's 20 points paced the Vikings.
Michaela Rucci and Becca Ruggear each scored 11 points to lead Oxford to a 41-29 win over visiting Unionville.
Catholic Academies.
Mount St. Joseph, which clinched the league title Thursday, can now concentrate on an unbeaten season after beating visiting Merion Mercy, 59-41. The Magic (21-0 overall, 13-0 league) got 19 points, eight rebounds, four steals and four assists from Elle Hagedorn and 16 points from lead guard Jen Sabia.
Villa Maria opened the second half with a 19-6 run to break open a close game and win at Gwynedd-Mercy, 60-39. Ellen Cannon led the Hurricanes with 13 points and Erin Mann added 12. Kat Daniels scored 11 points to lead the Monarchs, who have two league games remaining.
Host Villa Joseph Marie stunned visiting St. Basil, 35-32, as Jennie Quattrocchi had 11 points and eight rebounds and Melissa Van Wert's two free throws in the final minute sealed the game.
Friends Schools.
At Penn State-Abington, the rims evidently agreed with Abington Friends shooter Kelsey Clark, who hit five three-pointers in a 50-41 win over visiting Academy of the New Church. Clark had four of her three-pointers during a first quarter that saw the Kangaroos jump out to a 19-8 lead. Leighann Loughery's 16 points paced the Lions.
Indoor Track and Field
At Lehigh University, Notre Dame's Maura McKendrick won both the open 300 meters and rallied her 4x400-meter relay team to a dramatic win to highlight the Delaware Valley Girls Coaches Association meet.
McKendrick's strong anchor helped the Irish move from fourth to first in the 4x400. The team of Ayanna Fields, Megan Trainer, Katie Nappi and McKendrick covered the distance in 4 minutes, 10.32 seconds to nip rival Villa Joseph Marie (4:11.77).
Central Bucks East triple-jumper Ali Gillen also provided a highlight with a leap of 36 feet, one-quarter inch to win that event.
