We continue our Top 10 baseball tour with a look at the best second basemen in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Our list is based on personal observations and coaches' insights.

1. Sean Coyle, Germantown Academy, junior. The North Carolina recruit is a terrific hitter and fielder. Coyle and his brother, Tommy, arguably make up the area's best middle-infield combination.

2. Dan Williams, Monsignor Bonner, senior. A unanimous first-team all-Catholic League selection, he hit .491, with 18 runs, 14 RBIs, 14 stolen bases, and 8 doubles.

3. Dylan Tice, Pennridge, sophomore. For the Suburban One League's Continental Conference champions, he was batting a team-best .434, with 13 RBIs, 11 runs, and 4 doubles.

4. Ronny Tanner, Haverford High, senior. Tanner was hitting .429, with 22 runs, 19 RBIs, 19 stolen bases, 7 doubles, a .519 on-base percentage, and a .635 slugging percentage.

5. Bill Marriott, Chichester, senior. Del-Val League hurlers feared the DeSales recruit. He belted a two-run homer last week in a 9-6 road win over Interboro.

6. Colin Taylor, Avon Grove, junior. Taylor was batting close to .400 for the Red Devils, a force in the Ches-Mont League's American Division. He is also a quality pitcher.

7. Matt Hanser, Strath Haven, senior. Hanser, who doubles as the Panthers' ace hurler, was hitting .328, with 20 runs, 10 walks, 6 doubles, and a .500 on-base percentage.

8. Mike Massaro, Penn Charter, senior. Massaro, who has received an appointment to the Coast Guard Academy, has been a consistent performer.

9. Brett Moyer, Souderton, senior. With Moyer as a spark plug, the Indians qualified for the PIAA District 1 Class AAAA playoffs. He was also a key contributor on the mound.

10. Brandon Engelhardt, Owen J. Roberts, junior. Engelhardt was batting .404, with 19 stolen bases, for the Pioneer Athletic Conference champions.
