After Erica Cipolloni was walked to load the bases, freshman shortstop Melanie Kalesse came through with an RBI single to end the game.

Cipolloni led off the first inning with a home run and also had a triple in the game, and Kalesse was 3 for 5 at the plate.

District 1 Class AAAA. Pennsbury fashioned a three-run seventh inning and clipped Owen J. Roberts, 4-3, in the third-place game at North Penn.
