Here is a look at the NJSIAA track and championships:
When: Today, 4 p.m. and tomorrow, 10 a.m.
Where: Groups 4, A and B at Egg Harbor Township High School. Groups 1, 2 and 3 at South Plainfield High School.
Boys' Group 1: Glassboro's James Brown and Tariq Gaines could dominate sprints, while teammate Ryan Chance is the top seed in the triple jump. Haddon Heights' Chris Roundtree (high hurdles) and Haddon Township's Chris Mahon (shot put) are top seeds.
Boys' Group 2: Camden's Syteek Farrington is a threat in the long jump and high hurdles. Haddonfield's Colin Baker is the top seed in the 1,600 and Cinnaminson's Todd Campbell is the top seed in the 3,200.
Boys' Group 3: Matt Huckabee (discus), Montez Blair (long jump, triple jump, high jump) and Eric Smith (triple jump) lead defending state champion Timber Creek. Seneca's Matt Kanz (high jump) and Cumberland's Andrew Pierce (javelin) are top seeds.
Boys' Group 4: Washington Township's Xavier Fraction is the top seed in the 800.
Girls' Group 1: Haddon Heights' Helaina Adams is the top seed in the 100 and 200, while Lindenwold's Marielena Rivera (400 hurdles) and Brittany Sinclair (400) also No. 1 seeds.
Girls' Group 2: Camden's Assante Johnson is seeded among the top three in the 100, 200 and 400. Teammate Victoria Clark is the No. 1 seed in the 400 hurdles. Haddonfield's Marielle Hall is the top seed in the 800, 1600 and 3200.
Girls' Group 3: Seneca's Michelle Brown is the top seed in the 100, 200 and 400, while teammate Mary Bohi is the top seed in the 400 hurdles.
Girls' Group 4: Oakcrest's Nijgia Snapp is the top seed in the 400.
