Haddonfield, Holmdel gain final

Haddonfield and Holmdel will meet for the title of the prestigious Moorestown Girls' Tennis Classic after each won decisive semifinal matches yesterday.

Haddonfield claimed a 5-0 semifinal shutout of Holy Spirit, in which the Bulldogs lost just 15 games in 10 sets.

The host Braves won their second straight game in the Williamstown Tournament, clipping Haddonfield, 2-1, with second-half goals by Shea Levi and Stephany Kirchner yesterday.

Kingsway's first win was a 3-2 overtime verdict over Timber Creek in the first game of the doubleheader at Williamstown. Becca Barb netted the game-winner with 5 minutes, 2 seconds remaining in the second extra period.
