Pa. Girls: Communications Tech, Garrett sink Elverson

Garrett, a senior, now has career figures of 760 points and 543 rebounds.

Tyniqua Henderson scored 26 points and Tamyra Lewis added 22 as Dobbins rolled to a 62-32 win at Fels.

Guard Shannon Lamar scored eight of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead Frankford to a 75-43 win at Northeast.

Kensington went on a 17-7 outburst in the second quarter and outlasted host Washington, 37-32. Jazmine Lopez scored 13 of her 24 points during that second quarter for the Tigers.

Chikilra Goodman had a triple-double, including 34 points, for Bodine in its 54-10 win at Philadelphia Academy Charter. Goodman added 12 rebounds and 10 steals.

Edison made seven three-point shots in a 51-23 win at Martin Luther King.

Parkway made the short trip to Masterman and came away with a 49-41 win thanks, in part, to Brittany Brown's eight points in the second quarter.

Host Central beat neighborhood rival Girls High, 49,-32, as Najah Jacobs had 14 points, seven rebounds and six blocked shots.

Tiffany Then, a freshman point guard, had 18 points and five assists in Paul Robeson's 46-26 win over visiting Philadelphia Electrical.

Palumbo got half its points from the guard tandem of Elizabeth Herezi and Maryellen Paul in a 40-25 win over visiting High School of the Future. Herezi and Paul scored 10 points each.

Antoinette Robinson had 17 points and seven steals for University City in a 51-40 win at Southern.

Brittany Hrynko had 19 points for Engineering and Science in a 65-25 win over visiting Mariana Bracetti.

Penn-Jersey. Host Solebury School got 13 points from Alexis Rice in a 48-24 win over Mercy Vocational.
