Simply saying that it was time, Bob Weiss has resigned after a 22-year reign as Atlantic City's head football coach.
Simply saying that it was time, Bob Weiss has resigned after a 22-year reign as Atlantic City's head football coach.
While the Vikings went 1-9 this season, Weiss was 116-95-1 and was inducted a few years ago into the South Jersey Football Hall of Fame.
The highlight of his career was the 1999 season when the Vikings went 11-1, won the South Jersey Group 4 title, and were The Inquirer's No. 1 ranked team in South Jersey.
The 57-year-old Weiss will remain a physical education teacher at Atlantic City.
