Stephanie Gardner picked up nine of her game-high 31 points in overtime, including the go-ahead three-point basket with 20 seconds remaining, as Glassboro outlasted host Woodstown, 44-41, last night in Tri-County Conference girls' basketball.

The Diamond Division contest was tight throughout, and Lauren Husser (10 points), the Wolverines' junior center, tied it with 1 minute, 30 seconds left in regulation.

Senior guard Sarah Hepler led Woodstown with 12 points, while freshman forward Tori Smick contributed 10 points and a dozen rebounds.

Gardner, a senior guard, was the lone double-figure scorer for the Bulldogs.

In other Tri-County Conference action:

Grace Cooney and Gabrielle Cooper had nine points apiece to lead a balanced attack and help Gloucester withstand a furious fourth-quarter rally, as the Lions held off host Salem, 38-37.

Shaqui Coppage scored 13 of her game-high 21 points in the final period for the Rams, who nearly matched their point total of the first three quarters with a 17-8 game-ending spree.

Loretta Kelly (17 points, six assists, four steals), Katie McWade (12 points) and Shaniqua Roper (11 points) fueled the offense for Wildwood, which used a 22-10 third-quarter surge to pull away to a 53-37 victory at Pitman.
