The Pioneers (21-2 overall, 17-0 league) needed a three-pointer at the buzzer from sophomore wing guard Olivia Bradford to beat Jenkintown, 40-39. Jenessa Derstine dribbled the length of the court and found Bradford for the game-winner.

In the other semifinal, Delco Christian got 15 points apiece from Emily Homan and Alexa Weaver in a 57-44 win over visiting Girard College.

Christopher Dock and Delco Christian will play for the title at Holy Family College tonight (6 p.m.).

Public Class AAA. Prep Charter repeated as champion with a 64-33 win over visiting Franklin Learning Center.

The Huskies (19-3) completed the Public League portion of their season with a 64-33 win over visiting Franklin Learning Center.

Prep Charter will now face the Catholic League AAA winner at a date and time to be determined for the District 12 title.

As has been their trademark, the Huskies were able to place five players in double figures, led by Yasmine Montgomery's 13 points. They also got 12 apiece from Lashay Banks and Tiffany Johnson and 11 from Sydney Mallory and 10 from Nydeera Lee.

District 1 Class AAAA. Host Abington, the No. 6 seed, got 20 points and 10 rebounds from Villanova-bound senior forward Emily Leer in a 56-34 win over No. 27 Ridley. The Ghosts host either Souderton or Lower Merion on Wednesday night.

Gabrielle Vass scored 19 points and made all four of her free throws for Central Bucks South in its 50-38 win at Wissahickon.

Top-seeded Cheltenham overwhelmed Owen J. Roberts, 67-32, behind Shayla Felder's 14 points.

Public Class AAAA. Najah Jacobs had 17 points, seven assists and eight steals for host Central in a 66-29 semifinal win over rival Northeast. Isabella Ross added 14 points, eight rebounds and five steals for the Lancers, who advance to the title game against Frankford on Wednesday.

Frankford earned its spot in the finals with a 53-44 semifinal win over visiting Olney, getting 18 points and 18 rebounds from 5-foot-10 senior forward Dione Harris. The Pioneers (18-1) also got 13 points from Shannon Lamar.

Public Class AA. In a semifinal game, visiting Freire Charter cruised to a 52-38 win over Bodine, despite not being able to stop the Ambassadors' Chikilra Goodman. The Dragons played a box-and-one and sometimes two defenders on Goodman, but she still was able to shake free for 35 of her team's points.

In another semifinal, Brittany Hrynko's 32 points carried host Engineering and Science past Imhotep Charter, 64-33.

Catholic. In a quarterfinal game, host Archbishop Wood got 13 points and six steals from Christine Verrelle in a 62-25 win over St. Hubert.

In other quarterfinals:

Erin Shields had made all three of her three-point shots in leading Archbishop Carroll past visiting Conwell-Egan, 57-43.

Host Archbishop Ryan clubbed Archbishop Prendergast, 53-36, getting 21 points from Lauren Smith.

Pennsylvania Independent Schools. Penn Charter advanced to today's finals by beating visiting Notre Dame, 51-29. The Quakers got 15 points from sophomore point guard Brianna Butler and 12 more from Aleesha Powell.

In the other semifinal, Germantown Academy topped Friends' Central, 64-31, behind Maggie Lucas, who scored 21 points.

Bowling

Little Flower won its fourth consecutive Catholic League regular-season title with a 4-0 win over visiting Conwell-Egan.

The Sentinels also won the playoff title in 2008 and 2009. They were led by Tori Reuscher's high series of 490. Little Flower advances to the title match on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2 p.m. at Boulevard Lanes.

Public. Franklin Towne Charter's Lisa Cabrera took high series honors with a 381 in Franklin Towne Charter's 3-0 league coed semifinal win over Northeast at Erie Lanes. Brittany Portwood's 366 series paced Northeast.

Franklin Towne will go up against Central on Tuesday (3 p.m.) at Erie Lanes.

Ice Hockey

Sarah Wilkinson scored half of Strath Haven's goals in a 6-0 Central League win over visting Conestoga.
