Christopher Dock and West Chester Henderson each will play for PIAA state baseball championships after grabbing semifinal victories on Monday.

In Class A, Christopher Dock eliminated District 11 champion Pius X (17-6) of Bangor, 4-2, at Muhlenberg.

Ryan Seiz scored a run, drove in another and stole a pair of bases, and Drew Minninger and Alex Summers also knocked in runs as the Pioneers scored twice in each of the first two innings.

The Pioneers (19-3), who last won a state title in 2005, will meet District 7 champ Serra Catholic (24-1) at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at Altoona's Blair County Ballpark.

State Class AAAA. Henderson (24-4) ousted District 7's Pine Richland (20-4), 2-1, in a semifinal thriller at Green Township Park in Scotland.

In the all-District 1 final at 1 p.m. on Friday at Altoona, the Warriors will battle Owen J. Roberts.

Hatboro-Horsham's hopes for a rematch of the District 1 final against Central Bucks South in Friday's PIAA state championship ended when the Hatters suffered a 2-1 loss to Mount Lebanon in the Class AAAA semifinals at Shippensburg University.

Mount Lebanon (22-3), the District 7 champion, got a solid pitching effort from Geena Badolato, who denied the Hatters (23-4) a chance for their second state crown in three years.
