Hatboro-Horsham's hopes for a rematch of the District 1 final against Central Bucks South in Friday's PIAA state championship ended when the Hatters suffered a 2-1 loss to Mount Lebanon in the Class AAAA semifinals at Shippensburg University.
Mount Lebanon (22-3), the District 7 champion, got a solid pitching effort from Geena Badolato, who denied the Hatters (23-4) a chance for their second state crown in three years.
