Allie Sabia's goal with 19 minutes left gave the visiting Magic (11-3-1 overall, 10-2-1 league) a two-goal lead and they hung on for a 3-2 win.
Brooke Sabia's goal gave the Magic the lead for good, 2-1, before Allie Sabia's goal on a breakaway made it a 3-1 advantage. Ann Burgoyne also scored for the Magic.
Mount St. Joseph goalie Kat Matchett had 10 saves.
The loss came in the final regular-season game for the Hurricanes (16-1, 13-1), which got goals from Caroline Troncelliti and Sam Ostoich.
Catholic. First-half goals by Tori Canelli, Kate McFadden and Jackie Schwartz gave host St. Hubert the lead for good in its 3-2 win over Conwell-Egan. Colleen Cahill and Shannon Stricker scored for the Eagles.
Inter-Ac. Rayna Alvazoglou's first-half goal gave Agnes Irwin its first league win of the season, 1-0, at Springside. Julie Bunten assisted on the goal with 22 minutes left in the first half. Rayven Bowser had five saves in goal for the Owls (3-5-2, 1-2-1). Springside goalie Ashley Hale turned away four of the five shots she faced.
Del-Val. Alyssa Weber scored a goal and assisted on the other in Academy Park's 2-0 win at Penn Wood.
Bicentennial. Brittney Weideman's hat trick powered host Delco Christian to a 7-0 win over Morrisville. Stacey MacArthur added a pair of goals and teammates Anna Evans and Vicki Kravetts chipped in with solo goals. The Knights (9-4, 8-3) got three saves from goalie Emily Lindenmuth for her sixth shutout of the season.
Lower Moreland needed a second-half goal from Jess Dranzik to beat visiting New Hope-Solebury, 1-0.
Pioneer Athletic. Host Phoenixville peppered the Boyertown net with 25 shots, but could only manage a 0-0 tie. The game was played almost entirely in the Boyertown end of the field, with Phoenixville goalie MacKenzie Welsh facing only one Boyertown shot.
Nonleague. Alana Dumas scored twice and added an assist as host Episcopal Academy handed Tower Hill (Del.) its first loss of the season, 4-1. Cary Ciccotti and Leslie MacManus also scored.
Powell Davis scored with 2 minutes, 34 seconds left in overtime to give host Upper Merion a 2-1 win over Baldwin.
Ali Becker had two goals and an assist for Germantown Academy in its 6-0 win at Germantown Friends.
The Patriots (3-6-2) broke the game open with five second-half goals. Brooke Kiley also scored a pair of goals and teammates Tracey Duryea and Kali Kilmer added single goals. Goalie Carly Hillman picked up the shutout with six saves.
Golf
At the Gilbertsville Golf Club, Council Rock North freshman Erica Herr shot a two-day total of 146 to take the District 1 tournament title. Herr was consistent on both days, shooting a 2-over-par 73 on both days.
Central Bucks East senior Jordan Glatt was second with a 147, leading the Patriots to the team title.
Soccer
A superb individual effort by Melanie Sachs gave Friends' Central a 1-0 nonleague win at neighboring rival Episcopal Academy.
Sachs scored an unassisted goal early in the second half, winning a 50/50 ball with a defender and turned to blast the ball into the top left corner of the net from 25 yards out.
Sierra Lanfresco's first goal of the season was a highlight of Abington Friends' 5-0 win over visiting Barrack Hebrew. Robin Harding, Kelly McGlynn, Sara Nourie and Maria Savarese also scored.
Catholic. Kelsey Celline's two goals were the difference for host Archbishop Wood in a 4-2 win over Archbishop Ryan. Celline now has 28 career goals.
Catholic Academies. Goals by Olivia Rosenberger and Erin Casey gave host Gwynedd-Mercy a 2-0 win over Merion Mercy.
Gabby Roundbeler had a goal and an assist for host Mount St. Joseph in a 4-0 win over St. Basil.
Morgan McCafferey, Josie Mustin and Lisa Roman also scored for the Magic (5-8-1).
