East girls, West boys win in all-star games

There was no shortage of goals during Sunday's South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association senior all-star games at Eastern. The East team scored a 2-1 win over the West in the girls' game. Scoring for the winners were Jenna Pedrick of Paul VI and Eastern's Sydney Certrullo. Washington Township's Ashley Hawkins scored for the West.

There was no shortage of goals during Sunday's South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association senior all-star games at Eastern.

The East team scored a 2-1 win over the West in the girls' game. Scoring for the winners were Jenna Pedrick of Paul VI and Eastern's Sydney Certrullo. Washington Township's Ashley Hawkins scored for the West.

In the boys' game, the West was a 6-5 winner over the East. Pennsauken's Dominic Rodriguez and Sacred Heart's Nick Gazzara each scored twice while Shawnee's Jesse Shea and Rancocas Valley's Brandon Trojak scored the other goals.

For the East, St. Augustine's Connor Hurff had two goals, while single-goal scorers were Steve Butenewicz (Delsea), Tyler Levengood (Timber Creek), and Jamie Bonilla (Lindenwold).
