FIRST TEAM

Alexa Gallagher, Germantown Academy, senior. Gallagher was one of 36 players invited in June to tryouts for the USA Basketball U17 World Championships team.

Steph Smith, Mount St. Joseph, senior. Coach John Miller will count heavily on Smith as the Magic move up in classification this season to AAAA.

Brittany Hrynko, Eng. & Science, senior. Hrynko established herself as one of the top guards in the area as a freshman. She's now committed to DePaul.

Kahleah Copper, Prep Charter, junior. Copper transferred from Girard College this year. Coach Paul Rieser says she has schools from all over the country interested in her.

Lauren Gold, Council Rock North, junior. Coach Lou Palkovics is counting on Lauren and her senior sister Devon to make the Indians, who have some size, go.
