Collingswood Hall of Fame induction banquet in March

The Collingswood Athletic Hall of Fame will induct 16 individuals and seven teams at its 21st annual banquet March 3 at the Crown Plaza in Cherry Hill.

The Collingswood Athletic Hall of Fame will induct 16 individuals and seven teams at its 21st annual banquet March 3 at the Crown Plaza in Cherry Hill.

Army Maj. Gen. John K. Stoner, Collingswood Class of 1946, will receive the lifetime achievement award.

John "Corpy" Fisher, Class of 1963, will be inducted for meritorious service, and Paul Ritzinger will be inducted as a cross-country and track and field coach.

Other individuals to be inducted include Bill Hale from the 1960s; and Pat Hill, Ed Donahue, David Munyan, Dan Schmid, and Diane Coursen Springer from the 1970s.

Also, Bob Moser, Lisa Loeber, Eileen Parkinson Martin, Maureen Cannon, Jim Bruno, and Theresa Macaro Gostovich from the 1980s, and Julie Williamson Sullivan from the 1990s will be honored.

The teams that will be inducted are 1949 football; 1955 girls' basketball; 1958, 1960, and 1961 boys' tennis; 1961 baseball; and 1963 field hockey.
