Moses paces Rancocas Valley

Lauren Moses dropped in 11 points and pulled down 15 rebounds as Rancocas Valley won its 20th game of the girls' basketball season, 45-38, over Delran in a South Jersey Invitational tournament quarterfinal game at Kingsway on Sunday.

Jasmyne Lewis added 10 points for Rancocas, which will face Timber Creek in the tournament semifinals on Friday at Sterling.

Timber Creek advanced with a 58-34 success against Kingsway in which Jasmine Martin contributed 31 points and 10 rebounds.

In the consolation round, Winslow Township dealt New Egypt a 48-38 setback with Jada Matthews' 23 points. Kyanna Fillmore, a 6-foot-1 freshman, added 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Eastern followed Mike Wilson's 27 points and Devon Bell's 26 to an 82-77 upset of host St. Augustine, ranked No. 2 in South Jersey by The Inquirer, in the Olympic-Cape Shootout.

Also at St. Augustine, Camden won its second straight game, 65-55, over Egg Harbor Township. The Panthers rallied with a 23-12 fourth quarter in which Hubert Simmons had two three-pointers and eight of his 16 points.

Dontae Stubbs poured in 33 points and dealt six six assists for Bridgeton in a 78-60 win over Woodrow Wilson. Frank Nock chipped in with 29 points and seven assists.
