The Redskins scored 16 runs in the seventh inning to beat host William Tennent, 24-9, in a Suburban One National game with the key hit being Diana LaPalombara's grand slam.

Sarah McGowan made the comeback possible in the sixth by hitting a two-out, three-run, homer to tie the game at 9-9.

McGowan and teammate Laura Altenberger both had three hits for the unbeaten Redskins (4-0).

Suburban One American. Katie Costello had a pair of hits and three stolen bases for Upper Moreland in its 11-3 win at Upper Dublin.

Teammate Ali Roberts also had a pair of hits.

Katie Ziegler scattered four hits and drove in three runs to lift host Wissahickon past Upper Merion, 7-0.

Suburban One Continental. Haileigh Stocks pitched a four-hitter and hit a home run for Central Bucks South in its 8-1 win at rival Central Bucks East.

Public. Jessica Figueroa pitched a three-inning one-hitter and Alexis Rodriguez added a grand slam as host Lincoln pounded Edison, 15-0.

Inter-Ac. Kate Brock had three hits, including two home runs, for Penn Charter in its 13-2 win at Episcopal Academy, the 250th win in the history of the Penn Charter program.

Katie Wenger's grand slam highlighted Agnes Irwin's 17-8 win at Baldwin.

Ches-Mont. In a pitchers' duel, Kate Poppe tossed a two-hitter and hit a two-run homer as Bishop Shanahan earned a 2-0 win at West Chester East. Brianna Andraos gave up only five hits for the Vikings.

Pioneer Athletic. Marisha Bates went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored for host Spring-Ford in a 6-3 win over Methacton.

The Rams rallied for five runs in the sixth inning for the win.

Bicentennial. Katie Stauffer pitched a four-hitter and hit a home run for host Calvary Christian in its 18-8 win over New Hope-Solebury.

Ashley Cantiello pitched a five-inning no-hitter for Bristol in its 18-1 win at Girard College.

Catholic Academies. Sam Gibson's four RBIs were the difference for host St. Basil in a 10-6 win over Gwynedd-Mercy. Gibson and Melissa Mulvey drove in runs during a four-run first inning.

Friends Schools. Jess Cooper had three hits and five stolen bases for Friends' Central in its 10-7 win at Friends Select.

Nonleague. Megan Bolton's ground ball Keli Krause with the winning run on the final play of the game, giving host Christopher Dock a thrilling 2-1 win over cross-town rival Lansdale Catholic.

The play made a winner out of Krause, who pitched a two-hitter.

Krause started the second inning with double, moved to third on a sacrifice bunt and scored on Bolton's ground ball to shortstop, keeping the Pioneers (4-0) unbeaten.

Lacrosse

Sophie Katz scored with 1 minute, 23 seconds left and then added both overtime goals for Shipley in a 9-9 Friends Schools League tie at Friends' Central. Ashley Tedesco had five goals for the Phoenix.

Eleven players scored for host Germantown Friends, led by Hannah Drake's hat trick, in a 16-8 win over Academy of the New Church.

Inter-Ac. Blake McHugh had five goals for host Episcopal Academy in its 12-5 win over Penn Charter.

Suburban One American. Kelly Cross had four goals and three assists for host Upper Dublin it its 15-1 win over Plymouth Whitemarsh.

Bicentennial. Haley Smith's seven goals lifted Jenkintown to a 22-1t4 win at Delco Christian.

Pioneer Athletic. Devin Hassinger had four goals for Owen J. Roberts in its 18-4 win at Pottsgrove.

Catholic Academies. Stephanie Finley's seven goals powered Sacred Heart to a 15-3 win at Gwynedd-Mercy.

Both Finley and teammate Eileen Dombrowski, who added four goals, had four assists.

Track and Field

In the Warrior Invitational at West Chester Henderson, West Chester Rustin's Mariah Powell provided the highlight by sweeping all three jumps.

Soccer

Antoinette Sneh's goal with two minutes left gave Freire Charter a 3-2 Public League win at Furness.
