S. Jersey Girls: Gloucester clinches Classic crown

Tersea Anderson hit a two-run homer, Angela Harris knocked in three runs with a pair of singles, and Kate Boulden scattered three hits to get the pitching win for coach Dave Light's club.

Also in the Tri-County, Erynn Sobieski's first no-hitter made GCIT a 4-0 winner at Woodstown. Sobieski struck out six and walked one, and Taylor Favinger had four of the Cheetahs' five hits.

Colonial. Haddon Heights wrapped up the Liberty Division title with a 6-1 success against visiting Overbrook. The Garnets broke open a close game with back-to-back homers by Jackie Emerly and Brielle Rolon in the sixth inning, and winning pitcher Shayla Sweeney drove in a pair of runs.

Olympic. Ali Summers' first-inning grand slam kick-started Camden Catholic's 6-0 shutout at Bishop Eustace. Susan Wysocki pitched a complete-game one-hitter with nine strikeouts.

Cherokee pitcher Carolyn Griffin notched a five-inning no-hitter, 13-0, at Winslow Township. Griffin drove in two runs and scored twice.

Cherelle Chambers scored Eastern's runs, and pitcher Steph Vuono fanned 10 Cherry Hill East batters as the host Vikings prevailed, 2-1.

 South Jersey Group 2. Manasquan pitcher Caitlin Mohen outdueled Delran's Rachel Bintliff, 1-0, in a first-round tournament game. Mohen allowed four hits, and Bintliff struck out five.
