Tues. S.J. girls’ roundup: Williamstown storms past Highland

Taylor Bynoe (four saves) saw her shutout bid spoiled in the second half by the Tartans' Autumn Buck.

Maxie New led the way with two goals and two assists for host Clayton, which rang up 31 shots on Gloucester goalie Tori Wunsch en route to a 5-1 victory.

Katherine Camp, Alyson Hanhauser, and Jessica Richardson scored for Clearview, which also received six saves from Arianna Bua in a 3-0 triumph at Delsea.

Host Gloucester Catholic used goals by Devin Dougherty and Maddy Hogan to slip past Glassboro, 2-1.

Abigail Nickle had a hat trick and Chelsea Abhau scored twice to back the shutout goaltending of Alyssa Whipkey as host Pennsville wiped out Wildwood, 7-0.

Pitman picked up the pace in the second half, getting three goals and an assist from Rebecca Williams, to put away visiting Salem, 5-0. Rachel Millar added a goal and an assist in support of Panthers keeper Karlie Crispin (three saves).

Woodstown ran its winning streak to four, with Carley Griscom knocking in a pass from Alexa Digregorio for a 1-0 decision at Deptford.

Maria Kirby recorded her first shutout of the season and Caitlin Collins had a pair of assists, as host Kingsway conquered Cumberland, 3-0.

Cape-Atlantic. Jasmine Miro's two goals enabled Buena to edge host Wildwood Catholic, 4-3.

Penn-Jersey. The tandem of Ziena Ngatchou (five goals) and Elena Zangerle (goal, four assists) powered host Doane Academy past Solebury School, 6-3.

Field Hockey

Megan Anstotz pumped in four goals and Janine Bocchicchio dished out two assists to spark a second-half surge, sending Audubon to a 6-0 home win over Woodbury in a Colonial Conference match.

Miranda Mistalski made four saves in posting the shutout, while her counterpart, Thundering Herd goalie Summer Sklivas, was spectacular in turning aside 24 shots.

In other Colonial action:

Kim Flacco posted a hat trick and Julie Bridgeford contributed two goals and an assist, as host Haddon Township pounded Paulsboro, 7-0.

Amanda Hojnowski, Rachel Krott, and Sydney Ponto scored two goals apiece in West Deptford's 9-0 rout at Overbrook.

Host Gateway defeated Lindenwold, 4-0, behind two goals from Natalie Knauer and shutout goaltending by Courtney Pote.

Burlington County. Lexi Smith scored six times to highlight Florence's 8-1 romp over visiting Medford Tech. Kristin Tully dealt four assists and Heather Horner set up three goals as the Flashes ran out to a 7-0 halftime lead.

Friends Schools. Lara Savon and Laura Bader combined for three goals and two assists for Moorestown Friends, which jumped on top early and cruised to a 5-0 victory over visiting Friends Select.

Girls' Tennis

To prepare for Thursday's opening of the NJSIAA sectional team tournament, host Haddonfield defeated Moorestown, 4-1, in a nonleague match between two of the area's premier programs.

Haddonfield is the top seed in the South Jersey Group 2 tournament, while Moorestown is seeded No. 1 in South Jersey Group 3.

Colonial. Haddon Township clinched the Patriot Division title for the fourth consecutive season, as the host Hawks swept Gateway, 5-0, behind Jackie Cuneo's 6-3, 6-0 win at second singles.
