S. Jersey Boys: Trio lifts Paul VI over Roman, 59-51

Roosevelt Cubbage produced 12 points and 10 rebounds, while point guard Ron Curry hit a pair of three-pointers in an 18-point game and Kris O'Connor scored 15 points to keep the Eagles ahead from the beginning.

Curry saved 10 points for the fourth quarter to keep Roman at bay, including eight foul shots.

In other nonleague action, Chris Kirby scored 18 of his 20 points before halftime to give Cinnaminson a 31-point lead, and the Pirates sailed past host Collingswood, 78-55. Collingswood's Chris Michael tossed in 21 points.

Burlington Township's defense held visiting LEAP Academy scoreless in the first quarter of a 55-20 victory. Remi Oclulana led the Falcons' offense with 11 points.

Moorestown Friends opened its season with a 64-30 romp over visiting Baptist High as Dan Richards scored eight points in an 18-6 second quarter and finished with three three-pointers. Michael Cunningham powered inside for 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Haddon Township used balanced scoring to pin a 62-36 setback on host Camden Academy Charter. Trey Thatcher, Logan Murray and Dave Cuneo scored 13 points apiece among eight scorers for the Hawks.

Olympic. Camden Catholic notched a solid 38-33 win over visiting Timber Creek as Kyle Green scored 10 of his game-high 25 points in the second quarter, accounting for all of the Irish's points in the period.

Down by four points after one quarter, Lenape fashioned an 18-6 second-quarter run and pulled away from visiting Camden for a 53-39 win. Tabu Gaither gave the Indians a game-high 18 points.

Eastern outgunned host Winslow Township, 86-66, behind Mike Wilson's 28 points, and Matt Klinewski and Devon Bell with 22 apiece, offsertting a 41-point explosion by Winslow's Adonius Melvins. Wilson hit four three-pointers.

Colonial. Paulsboro's Derrick Burgess (11) and Xavier Lundy (22) combined for 15 points in a 20-3 second-quarter spree that launched the Red Raiders past visiting Audubon, 75-27.

N.J. Vocational Tournament. Medford Tech earned a title date at Westampton Tech with a 66-30 semifinal win over Camden County Tech. Kennedy Chukwuocha topped four Jaguars in fouble figures with 14 points.

Host Westampton Tech won the other semifinal, 69-29, over Pennsauken Tech. Awwall Reid hit 16 points and Shaun Russell added 13 for the winners.
