S. Jersey Girls: Camden Catholic pounds Bridgeton

Kelsey Kilpatrick established a school record with eight three-point baskets in finishing with 26 points, and Nicole Angelo scored 21 as Camden Catholic buried Bridgeton, 65-33, on Wednesday in the semifinals of the Delsea girls' basketball tournament.

Kilpatrick, who eclipsed the previous mark of seven treys set by Kelly Killion in 2004, knocked down five shots from beyond the arc early in the fourth quarter before heading to the bench.

Boardwalk Classic. Kylie Giedemann produced 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and a pair of clutch free throws late in overtime, keying Washington Township's 52-51 win over Prep Charter in the semifinals of the Tom Williams Bracket in Wildwood.

Kelly Giedemann added 18 points for the Minutemaids, who advance to Thursday's final against Ocean City - a 54-33 winner over Bersk Catholic. Samantha Robinson had a game-high 18 points for the Red Raiders.

Ashli Weems pulled down 16 of her 20 rebounds off the offensive glass, converting enough putbacks to score 21 in Millville's 50-31 semifinal romp past Wildwood Catholic in the Big Al Bracket.

Wildwood received 18 points apiece from Jessica Freeman and Serena Seijo, but the Warriors squandered a late lead in falling, 55-52, to Lyndhurst in the Kaitlin Anzelone Bracket final.

Burlington Township Tournament. Alicia Bradley and Simi Adewumi dominated the lane, combining for 28 points, 26 rebounds, six steals and four assists in powering the host Falcons past Ewing, 60-50, for the title.

Haddon Heights took home third place, after Nadja Riggs posted 23 points and eight rebounds in a 49-33 triumph over Florence.

Tiger Classic. Freshman guard Lyayshia Stevens pumped in 21 points, came up with five steals and dealt four assists as host Woodrow Wilson doubled up Camden, 74-37, in the tournament championship. Shanyah Allen (16 points), Chanelle Perry (14 points) and Kamari Talley (11 points, 12 rebounds) also came up big for the Tigers.

Audubon Tournament. Jamie Campbell dished out seven assists and joined Nijha Treadwell in scoring 13 points, and Sherron Howard battled inside for 11 points and 10 rebounds as Cinnaminson claimed the championship by clubbing Gloucester, 59-33.

Maddie Lord (13 points), Valerie Pineiro (12) and Tyler Frankowski (10) supplied the bulk of the scoring for Audubon, which took third place with a 49-41 win over Moorestown Friends.

GCIT Tournament. Janay Smith excelled in the low post, totaling eight points, 12 rebounds and two blocked shots in leading Buena to the championship, 34-30, over Maple Shade. The Wildcats' Jackie McClellan, with 16 points, was the game's lone double-figure scorer.

Despite Ashley McGinn's game-high 11 points, the host Cheetahs were nipped, 32-31, by Woodbury for third place.

Hopewell Valley Tournament. Despite getting 23 points from Emily Filoon, Moorestown couldn't maintain its early lead and fell, 55-50, to the host team in the title game.

New Brunswick Tournament. Maddie Betley's balanced floor game featured 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals, and enabled Haddonfield to claim third place, 38-22, over West Windsor-Plainsboro North.

Atkinson Tournament. Tiaja Harrold tossed in 20 points and Shyniece Vessells contributed 11 points, six steals and five rebounds in Paulsboro's 46-40 semifinal win over Kingsway at Gloucester County College.

In the other semifinal, Timber Creek rallied to defeat Glassboro, 46-37, behind Amanda Riiff's 17 points.
