The Bucs were 1 for 13 at the foul line, capped by sophomore Christian Irons' successful free throw with 1 second left for the game-winning point in a 53-52 thriller over William Tennent.
Interboro (5-2) trailed Tennent (2-6) by 33-19 at halftime before rallying behind Irons and some effective long-range shooting. Irons scored 10 of his game-high 23 points in a 15-5 third quarter, while Bob Martino and Shawn Frampton combined for seven three-point baskets.
Tennent's Horace Spencer had 11 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots, and Matt Alden added 18 points and four assists.
Also at Widener, Upper Darby missed two shots in the last 20 seconds, allowing Norristown to escape with a 60-59 victory. Norristown's Jahbri Hargrove scored 10 points, grabbed six offensive boards, dished off three assists and added three steals.
Math, Civics & Sciences rolled over Patterson (Md.), 81-63 behind Malik Starkes' impressive game. Starkes scored 24 of his 30 points before halftime, and finished with seven rebounds and six assists, while Quadir Welton contributed 15 points and 11 boards.
Friends' Central got past Neshaminy, 53-29, as team MVP Amile Jefferson provided 19 points, eight rebounds and five blocks.
Council Rock North Tournament. The Indians won the event at home, 64-53, over Cheltenham as MVP Aaron Goodman combined 22 points with 15 rebounds.
KSA Classic. At Orlando, Central Bucks East finished third in the Grey Bracket by beating Sequoia (Cal.), 60-49. Ryan O'Neil was named all-tournament after scoring 10 points and grabbing seven rebounds, while Kevin Phelps snagged 10 boards, and Steve Topley added 17 points, eight assists and four steals.
Coaches vs. Cancer. Boys' Latin opened the five-game showcase at Haverford High with a 55-46 win over Ridley. Rahshan Wooten-Miller paced Latin with 20 points, and Ridley's Shaun Church, a 6-foot-2 forward, piled up 27 points and 11 rebounds.
Steve Leonard scored 12 points, and Terrance Thinna collected nine points and six rebounds for Perkiomen Valley in a 62-42 win over Sun Valley.
Anthony DiNorscia's 10 rebounds and Mauriece Bowers' 16 points steered Octorara past Harriton, 65-57.
Howard Sellars tossed in 24 points among four Church Farm players in double figures during a 70-59 win over Philadelphia Electrical.
Surf 'N Slam Tournament. Conestoga won two of its three games in San Diego, capped by a 77-44 victory over Bergkaneratene of Norway. Jared Seltzer's 11 points topped 13 Pioneers scorers.
Mastery Charter North Tournament. Mastery won its own tournament, 63-54, over Sayre as Mike Foster had 18 points and nine rebounds.
Philadelphia Academy Charter captured the consolation game, 49-47, over Science Leadership behind Elijah Crandall's 14 points.
Harrisburg Tournament. Freire Charter's Carlton Wright had 18 points, eight assists and three steals, but the Dragons dropped their second straight tournament game, 68-62, to Red Land.
Nonleague. Haverford School, aided by Sam Foreman's 15 points and three assists, outscored host Prep Charter by 24-15 over the two middle periods and held on to win, 40-37.
Down by four after three periods, Cardinal O'Hara used a 24-7 fourth quarter and beat visiting Pope John Paul II, 54-41. Mike Louden scored 16 points and Ed Allen snatched 10 rebounds for the Lions.
