Kelly Martellucci provided standout defense, and Madison Craft put the Churchmen ahead on her third goal with 10 minutes, 39 seconds left. M. C. Curran scored her fourth goal of the contest two minutes later for insurance.

Also in the Inter-Ac, Notre Dame claimed a 17-8 win over visiting Agnes Irwin behind Kristen Bandos' six goals and three assists.

Pioneer Athletic. Perkiomen Valley's defense, anchored by goalie Harley Barrett's 13 saves, held visiting Pottstown to one second-half goal for a 7-6 win. Becca Sangiuliano netted the winning goal with 2:33 to go.

Public. Nakea Shoemaker's goaltending and Rosy Henao's two goals carried Girls High past host Bodine, 4-2.

Nonleague. Rachel Shapiro's only goal, with 4:19 left, was the winner for Shipley in a 13-12 triumph over visiting Springside. Junior midfielder Sophie Katz had three goals, three assists, and nine draw controls.

Germantown Friends edged host Lower Merion, 13-11, as Annie Morrissey contributed four goals and three assists.

Softball

Sophomore Bernadette Tankle came through with a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Episcopal Academy a dramatic end to a 7-6 win over visiting Germantown Academy in the Inter-Ac.

Winning pitcher Alex Viscusi struck out eight and also hit a three-run homer in the first inning.

Penn Charter used two RBIs each by Danielle Sienko (3 for 3) and Kayla Quinn and a seven-run seventh inning to sink host Baldwin, 17-6.

Suburban One. Central Bucks South's Haileigh Stocks continued her solid pitching, allowing only a fourth-inning triple in a 12-strikeout, one-hit shutout during a 12-0 win over visiting Wissahickon. Morgan Decker and Hallie Bilker poked two hits each.

Ches-Mont. Brandi Lehman hit a three-run homer and Elaina DiPrimio had a run-scoring triple as part of a six-run fifth inning, and West Chester Rustin held off a late rally by visiting Unionville to win, 11-10.

Winning pitcher Kate Poppe scored on a passed ball and Kelsey Campbell scored on an error to give Bishop Shanahan its runs in a 2-0 win at Downingtown West. Poppe fanned 14 batters.

West Chester East's Brianna Andraos blanked host Avon Grove, 11-0, on two hits, and Allison Viguers (four RBIs), Amy Atwell and Lindsay Orton slapped two hits apiece.

Catholic Academies. Villa Maria piled up 21 hits in a 13-7 win at Sacred Heart, including home runs by Laura Hall (4 for 5) and Kelly Anthony and a triple from Hannah Chambers (3 for 3).

Pioneer Athletic. Perkiomen Valley pitcher Erin Hamm scattered three hits and struck out five in an 11-1 win over visiting Pottsgrove. Brittany Shoemaker, Harley Pascavage, Alyssa Morales, and Hamm homered for the Vikings.

Friends Schools. Allison David singled, stole second, and scored on an error in the bottom of the seventh to make Germantown Friends a 7-6 winner over visiting Abington Friends.

Friends Select doubled up host Friends' Central, 10-5, with Emily Payne's two-run homer and Cate MacQueen's pitching.

Public. Philadelphia Electrical's 28-10 win at University City featured Dior Guaglione's grand slam.

Bodine's Taylor Robar drove in four runs with a triple and home run, and also handled the pitching in a 15-5 win over visiting Mastbaum.

Andrea Gray's fourth-inning grand slam aided Bok's 23-7 win at Ben Franklin.

Camry Gray hit for the cycle, including a pair of home runs, and drove in six runs for GAMP during a 29-15 victory at Parkway West.

Nonleague. Morgan Noad slugged her fifth home run of the season - a grand slam in the sixth inning - and finished with three hits and five RBIs for Conestoga in a 10-4 success against visiting Council Rock South.

Kristin Ganderton struck out nine Gwynedd-Mercy batters and Ashleigh Sharp had a single and double to steer host Upper Dublin to a 7-2 victory.
