Pa. Girls: Drossner and Sienko power Penn Charter

Drossner walked eight and struck out four in seven innings. Sienko slammed a three-run homer in the third inning and smacked a two-run double in the sixth to give Penn Charter a 7-6 lead. The senior shortstop went 2 for 3, scored twice, and swiped a pair of bags.
In other nonleague action, Michelle Holweger hit a two-out, 220-foot home run and North Penn edged host Lansdale Catholic, 5-4.
Jackie Biolotti posted the complete-game win as she fanned nine and walked two in seven innings. Alexa Gable added a pair of hits and one run scored.
Christina Bascara went 3 for 3 as Pennsbury blanked visiting Garnet Valley, 15-0. Lauren Creegan finished 2 for 2 with three RBIs. Val Buehler posted the win.
Isabelle Hansbury hit a homer and Bensalem topped host Morrisville, 9-5.
Lacrosse
Siobhan Burke scored five times and added a pair of assists to help lift West Chester East over visiting Owen J. Roberts, 20-9, in a nonleague game. Emma Hager and Meghan Kavanaugh added two assists and two goals each.
Also in nonleague action, Carky Rodgers turned away six shots and Taylor Campellone scored five times to lift George School at Neshaminy, 13-8.
Sasha Wozniak and Maddie Ward recorded three assists each and Spring-Ford slipped past visiting North Penn, 12-10. Wozniak scored four times and Ward had three goals. Brenda McDermott scored a game-high five goals for North Penn.
Catholic Academies. Nikki Fisher scored seven goals and Jamie Mitchell added a hat trick as host Gwynedd-Mercy rolled over Sacred Heart, 16-9. Eileen Dombrowski scored four goals and added an assist for the visitors.
Track and Field
Unionville's Christina Mapa dominated the hurdles at the Unionville Invitational. She won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.62 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 45.90 seconds.
Springfield (Delco) Invitational. Kaila Cannon won the long jump (16-81/2) and the triple jump (33-111/2).
