Tues. S.J. girls' roundup: Kingsway tops Haddon Heights in showdown

Dominik (14-3) allowed four hits, struck out five, walked none, and allowed four hits to get the win for Kingsway (15-3).

Heights (13-5) gave up eight runs in the first two innings, as Dickson ignited the Dragons offense with a single, double, and triple, scoring two runs and driving in three more. Tara Grogan added two RBIs, and Becca Barb went 4 for 4 in the 13-hit attack.

In other nonleague action, Kelly Lupton finished Absegami's 2-1 win over visiting Pinelands by striking out the last batter with runners on second and third base. Lupton fanned 12, and Dana Cafone and Kelsey Chatten scored the runs.

Cherry Hill West rallied for two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and slipped past visiting Audubon, 3-1. Jamie Robertson got the win with seven strikeouts.

Pitman sailed past visiting Camden Academy Charter, 19-0, as Karlie Crispin piled up two singles, two doubles, three runs scored, and four runs batted in.

Tri-County. Delsea pitcher Jayme Zeilman fashioned a 3-0 shutout of visiting Glassboro by striking out eight and scattering seven hits. Jenna Cali had a single and a triple and scored twice.

Meghan Ryan and winning pitcher Madison Chain (seven strikeouts) knocked in two runs apiece for Gloucester during a 7-1 triumph over visiting Deptford.

Burlington County. Nicole Sadler drove in two runs and Heather Horner scored twice as Florence overpowered host Cinnaminson, 12-1.

Holy Cross dealt neighboring Delran a 16-7 loss as Tara Mason (four RBIs) and Miranda Pawline (three runs) had three hits apiece for the visiting Lancers.

Cape-Atlantic. Millville surprised visiting Hammonton, 1-0, on Alexa Calareso's five-hit pitching and Kristin Trout's run-scoring hit that plated Breann Swan.

Brittany Scott dominated Buena's 6-0 win over visiting St. Joseph by going 3 for 3 with a single, double, and home run for three RBIs and by pitching an eight-strikeout one-hitter.

Sacred Heart's 8-3 triumph at Ocean City included three hits by Rachel Garrigan, and two hits and two RBIs from Samantha Caterina.

Oakcrest defeated host Lower Cape May, 14-3, as Lindsay Day slugged three doubles, drove in four runs, and scored twice.

Lacrosse

Christina Brennan and Megan Tiernan scored four goals apiece, and Brennan also assisted on two scores for Washington Township en route to a 15-3 Olympic Conference win over visiting Cherry Hill East.

Cape-Atlantic. Millville's Corinne Etter poured in six goals, and Megan Hoffman chipped in with five goals and three assists, steering the Thunderbolts past host Lower Cape May, 16-9.

Egg Harbor Township goalie Naheel Naber turned aside a dozen Our Lady of Mercy shots and Alexis Badyna scored five goals as the visiting Eagles claimed an 18-11 triumph.
