Rysheed Jordan, one of the city's top boys' basketball players, showed no signs of a senior season burdened by a looming college decision on Sunday afternoon. Jordan's 22 points lifted Vaux past St. Andrew's School of Delaware, 66-61, in the Kyle Lowry FamJuice Tip-Off Classic at Philadelphia University.

Last weekend, Jordan made an official visit to UCLA and whittled his list down to the Bruins, St. John's, and Temple. He said he is in no rush to make his decision and is not ready to set a date for it. Temple coach Fran Dunphy was in the stands on Sunday, as was St. John's assistant Tony Chiles.

"I could wake up tomorrow and make my decision," Jordan said.

Jordan lives just west of Temple's North Philadelphia campus and said he considers the school home. Earlier this season, fans in the Owls' student section lifted a sign that said: "We want Rysheed Jordan."

"They made me feel like a big deal," Jordan said.

On Sunday, Jordan maneuvered his way around St. Andrew's triangle-and-two defense that was meant to limit Jordan and sophomore Sammy Foreman. With patience, Jordan stayed out on the wing and dragged his defender with him to open up the lane for his teammates.

He picked up his third foul early in the second half, but went the rest of the game without being whistled. He did not shy away from contact as he threw down a windmill dunk in transition. Later, he pulled his drive short and dished a no-look pass to Will Taylor for an easy bucket.
