Smith scored a school-record 42 points to lead Wood to a 78-46 win over Sacred Heart.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard hit eight three-pointers en route to the record, which topped Joe Getz's previous mark of 41, set in the 2010-11 season.

Also at the showcase, Mike Louden's 18 points guided Cardinal O'Hara to a 72-46 win over St. Joseph.

Jameer Nelson/Pete Nelson Classic. Quadir Welton had 12 points and 12 rebounds in Math, Civics, and Sciences' 54-46 win over Norristown at Philadelphia University.

Karonn Davis finished with 25 points, but Friends' Central fell to Roselle Catholic, 66-64.

Athletes Helping Athletes Tournament. Rip Engel scored 20 points to lead host Council Rock North to the tournament championship with a 51-45 win against Central Bucks South.

Steve Juenger Christmas Tournament. Leo Vincent scored 23 points to guide Bensalem to a 64-52 win against host Haverford High in the final.

Constitution Tournament. Raquan Brown-Johnson scored 18 points, grabbed nine boards, and had five assists for Martin Luther King, which knocked off Simon Gratz in the American bracket championship, 51-30.

In the National bracket final, Sayre topped Constitution, 62-46, behind 24 points by Antwan James.

Boyertown Bear Classic. Zach Muredda sank five threes and finished with 21 points in Pennridge's 64-58 win against Boyertown.

Prime Time ESCIT Tournament. Yosef Yacob scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to lead Archbishop Carroll to a 59-55 win against Bethlehem Liberty in the John Castaldo Flight at Trenton Catholic.

Westtown won the Fred Falchi Flight final against Trenton Catholic, 52-41, behind 15 points and 17 rebounds by Yilret Yiljep.

Girls' Basketball

Alex Louin capped an impressive tournament by leading Mount St. Joseph to a 48-29 win over Pope John Paul II in the George W. Snear Tournament final in Conshohocken.

Plymouth Whitemarsh Tournament. West Chester East's Nina Mazzarelli earned tournament MVP honors after lighting up Bensalem for 30 points in a 63-46 win in the final.

West Chester Classic. Lisa Mirarchi scored 12 points, earned tournament MVP honors, and led Villa Maria to a 37-26 win over Oley Valley in the final.

Peach State Classic. Colleen Walsh drilled six threes en route to 27 points in Shipley's 68-36 win against Newark (Ohio) in the consolation game in Atlanta, Ga.

Mercy High School Tournament. Mariah Quinn went 5 for 7 from three-point range to lead Merion Mercy past Mercy (Neb.), 47-25.

Wrestling

Pennridge's Scott Parker won the 113-pound class at the Bethlehem Holiday Tournament at Liberty High. Pennridge finished 16th in the 28-team field. Boyertown placed eighth.

Joe O'Brien won at 132 pounds for North Penn, which finished 18th.
