Citing personal reasons, Tom Kline has stepped down as football coach at Springfield (Delco) after three seasons. "I live in Downingtown," Kline said. "The distance away from my family was becoming an issue. I need to spend more time with my wife and kids.
Citing personal reasons, Tom Kline has stepped down as football coach at Springfield (Delco) after three seasons.
"I live in Downingtown," Kline said. "The distance away from my family was becoming an issue. I need to spend more time with my wife and kids.
"That's my No. 1 focus right now."
Kline, 41, posted a 21-12 record with the Cougars. This year's squad went 6-5 overall and 5-4 in the Central League.
