Collingswood Hall of Fame to honor 1967 title teams

Four championship teams from 1967 will be honored at the 24th annual Collingswood High School Athletic Hall of Fame induction banquet on March 1.

Twelve individuals also will be introduced at the event at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Cherry Hill.

The teams that will be honored:

The 1967 Colonial Conference and Suburban Cup championship girls' basketball team.

The 1967 Colonial Conference and Suburban Cup championship boys' basketball team.

The 1967 Colonial Conference and District 28 Championship wrestling team.

The 1967 Colonial Conference and Group 3 state championship baseball team.

The individuals who will be honored are: Alan "Butch" Schmoll (Class of 1957); Jim Walsh (1963); Matt Leek (1964); Carol Moule (deceased, 1965); Daria Sohanchak Teti (1969); Steve Latch (1979) and Anita Lutz (1979).

Also, Melissa Bandock (1981); Pat Fogarty (1987); Eric Hart (1991), Anthony Ladik (1993) and Hank Mumma (1968, lifetime achievement).
